Final Project - Written Concept

 My concept for this project is to illustrate and convey a short story following a currently unnamed character, who is enjoying a walk. The character will start off happily in a peaceful and joyous environment, and as he travels, will slowly turn into a scarier and darker environment.

The artistic aspect of this project will be primarily focused on replicating the artistic style of the 1930's, which was largely rubber hose animation. This means that the art style, audio and visual effects will ALL be focused on getting this message across.

(think Steamboat Willie, Popeye, or CupHead)

  The music in this video will be sampled from for the first half of my video (roughly). The songs in this video will be sampled for the second half of my video. The music chosen was with the intention of keeping the 1930's feel of the video as a whole, in order to match the visuals and effects. The music will shift near the halfway point from a joyful feeling to an ominous feeling environment.
